bio

Joy Eggerichs serves as the Director of Love and Respect Now. She began her journey in ministry working as the Love and Respect Conference Coordinator for her parents, Dr. Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs. Over time, she noticed a trend: People would come out of the conference sessions saying, “Why didn’t anyone teach us this before we got married? If only I knew then, what I know now.” Fueled by a passion to provide this information to her generation, Joy launched a project she appropriately titled “Love and Respect NOW.”

She has researched 18-35 year olds and desires to serve the next generation of people getting married…or not getting married. She captivates audiences with her research results, as well as stories from her own life struggles and victories.

Joy graduated with a degree in Communications Studies from Westmont College in 2004, and has taken some Master’s level coursework at both Regent College and Western Seminary.

endorsements

“Joy Eggerichs is one of those rare individuals who brightens every room she walks into. Her authentic approach to life, love, and spirituality make her one of the new shining stars of the future. Joy would be the first to tell you she’s just a normal girl sharing her life with others in a way to also grow herself. And that, in and of itself, makes me like her even more. Anyone who books her as a speaker are in for a real treat. Audiences will adore her.”

-Matt Baugher, Vice President and Publisher of Thomas Nelson, Inc.

“Joy Eggerichs is not only an excellent speaker but a true “joy” to work with. Her unique style of communication merges authenticity and humor to create an exceptional bond with her audience. Joy brings the Truth to life through her personal narrative and anything-but-dull life experiences.”

-Sarah Jaggard, Director of Convocation, Pepperdine University

“Joy Eggerichs has important words for her generation. She’s discovered and applied truths about relationships that are life changing and she communicates them in a winsome manner. Your audience will love it.”

-Ken R. Canfield, PhD, Founder, National Center for Fathering

“Getting to know Joy has been a true pleasure because I have found in her someone who shares the same passion I have to speak the truth in the midst of a chaotic world. Joy’s message has already been a catalyst for healing relationships and for bringing people closer to Christ. She understands that in bringing this message, she is part of something bigger than she is – a movement to change the face of our generation.”

-Rachel Ramsey Cruze, speaker, writer and daughter of Dave Ramsey
