people are love and respecting (now).

My pops came into town a couple weeks ago and I roped him into answering a couple questions I have received on my “Ask Joy” chalkboard.
He did a great job…however we realized one thing. “Interviewing” him is not my gift. There are few people in the world that I am more comfortable around than my father…and yet…on this day, in front of this camera, my mind went blank. I should have taken a few pointers from Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather or Diane Sawyer before trying to wrap things up.
My father was gracious and thanks to him we have a bit of content. Next week I will post the second question I threw in his direction. Following that I have a video where he finally flipped the tables and decided to interview me.

Love and Respect (Now) is a division of Love and Respect. Please be considerate.
What happens when the wife makes it clear she doesnt ever want to have sex? Then I’m to be loving and show her love regardless right. And if she never picks up on the truth from scripture that her body is not her own? Will I forever have to not have sex because I’m to love her more than myself and am I supposed to love her despite her not respecting me? I know it’s the truth but it is hard.

Joyful I think this was great!
Love your dad’s wisdom… can he come coach John n I? It’s little morsels of knowledge like this that I feel like all couples should know… but don’t usually (like us 🙂
Your family has such a great grasp of scriptural knowledge that underbeds your teaching… it is awesome-sauce. 🙂 hugs friend… can’t wait til the next one!
