Formal Lunch – Part 6: The Dating Game

In this final video, we tie up the end of Part 4 & Part 5‘s discussion on sexuality and glorifying God (yes those two things go together) and wrap it up by putting Erin and Jenny on the market.

Seriously.

Also, while Walter and I do have very similar sounding voices, we are not technically related. He is only half German.

Hope you enjoyed our discussion! I would love your continued comments on the discussion and stay tuned for next week when I let you know how having your own Formal Lunch could be part of Love and Respect NOW!

It took me a really long time to figure out who did Walter’s voice. Nice!

YOU ARE WEIRD. Luckily, according to me weird=awesome.

“I feel a peace about it” – way to bring it full circle, girl.

You should do another pow wow JUST like this with married young ladies and another with older women. I LOVE hearing your friends’ perspectives – they’re adorable and wise. Man, if I didn’t already have a ball & chain, Walter would have some competition in that dating game…. 😉

Val – I realize Erin, Jenny and I all have a nice baritone we can slip into from time to time…but I am glad you distinguished.

Kelly – Thank you for loving my weirdness. And I love that you brought that up! I actually am making an announcement next week of how I want to get everyone else involved on these “Formal Lunches.”

      Very Interesting!!!

I have found every one of these sessions very informative. I think it is great that these topics are now freely discussed among Christians. I know for a fact that in my experience, sexuality was generally grouped under sinfulness. I like the fact that you define sexuality, and delve deeper into the proper versus improper expression of what is in fact a creation of God. I like to relate the issue of sexuality to obviously sex, because I believe that anything good can easily be turned into an ugly thing due to misuse or just plain misunderstanding. In that regard there is necessity for limits or boundaries to preserve a good thing; such as limiting sex to a married couple.

Ohhh…if my boyfriend only knew that you are to blame for our recent increase in deep conversations…

      PS. Walter makes me laugh.

Jacqui – So glad you found the discussion helpful. I think it’s really healthy for us to talk about this and live this out together!

Emily – Oh please expand on how that came about! Shoulder to shoulder action?

Walter makes me laugh too, until he jumps on me and gives me flesh wounds. He is unaware of this size.

I would like to high five you for this series of videos. They are great. I want to watch these with my friends and then have our own formal lunch and talk about it.

Haley – Thanks! And you should do it…and then let me know how it goes. I actually posted a video about this yesterday. Holla.

I saw that! It has me thinking about ACTUALLY having a formal lunch. Only maybe at dinner time.
