Cat Lady, Part 2

When I speak, I often get questions that essentially ask, “What do I do, Joy, when life isn’t quite turning out how I planned?”

But, I know what they’re really asking.

Join my friend, Kristin, and I for Part 2 of our 3-part series, where we unpack what it looks like to live in a season of being a Cat Lady (or Cat Man) and what that can really mean for all of us, regardless of what season we find ourselves in.

From my heart,

Joy

_______

Questions

Have you ever been through a “pruning season?” How has that affected your relationships with others, married or single?

Single people, what would it look like for you to “become the partner you want?”

Loved this! Especially when you said how making the best of your single life by letting God prune you leads to not making your spouse your idol but rather inviting him to join along in this continual process of being pruned. That is such a new (to me) way to look at marriage.
      Great input!

Thanks Lena! I love watching my mom who says, “If I ever stop growing – hit me!” She’s in her 60’s and is one of the wisest women I know. Pruning can hurt, but it can produce so much fruit too. Thanks for your comment!
