I was sent this video last week and thought it was very creative and well done. Obviously there is a difference between learning how to be alone well and how to be alone poorly.
Done well, you grow and learn.
Done poorly, you isolate yourself.
I think this video gives examples of how to be alone WELL.
Don’t deny your need for community.
Find the balance.
Enjoy life.

Loved this video. Makes me want to practice being alone better. I think I like being alone, but then I realized that I like being with my cell phone so I’m not sure that counts…in fact she even called me out on that in the video. I’ve got some work to do 🙂
There is a difference between loneliness and solitude. Solitude is necessary and healthy. Loneliness is not.
I really liked this video… I’m not very good at being alone, and like Michelle said, I’m usually with my cell phone if I am (yes, I have made the occasional pretend call).
