Some of you ask me questions that I feel I can answer in 140 characters or less.
Yes, I value your questions that much.
Truly, I do wish I could sit with you face-to-face and answer your questions—no matter how weird they (or you) are. Since I can’t, Twitter allows me to answer some in a quick way that might give you some direction, make you think, make you laugh, or make you want to send a bomb to my house. Please don’t.
That’s OK. Text the words: Follow @joyeggerichs to the # 40404 and you should be able to get my tweets.
Warning: Along with links to my posts and Ask Joy responses, you may discover I have an unhealthy love for unicorns and that many of my tweetable thoughts are… dumb.
Watch this video for a short explanation. And just keep in mind that I don’t make it a habit of abbreviating words in real life. N Twitterland we hve no choice b/c Twtr forces bad Eng so we got 2 do it if we wnt to say n-e-thng.

Love and Respect (Now) is a division of Love and Respect. Please be considerate.
Emily – Great question. My personal belief is that feelings are a huge factor in moving forward with someone, however ultimately love will be a choice. If not, if there were a season in marriage where our feelings were not as strong we would start to question if we loved the person.
Not trying to get too deep, but my encouragement to you would be that your boyfriend probably loves that you “like” him. Most guys are so assured of your commitment when they know you are their buddy and friend. Keep up the good work!

n-e-thng uses the same amount of characters as spelling out ‘anything’. haha
Cam- I am enamored with your comment. 🙂 No really, love it.
Love is such a strong and overused word in our society. Up to this point, I have refrained from telling a man that I love him. But now I am starting to feel like it’s too soon for the L-bomb, but my feelings are way stronger than “like”.
Josh – Yes. Please create it and email it to me. It will be featured in our Arts and Crafts section. Coming soon?
Cam & Emily – Enamoreds a good word. I would also encourage you to be vocal about the things you admire and respect about him. Words can have deeper meaning for you and your significant other if you have an example of the “why” behind it.

Hahaha! I loved #10. It’s most definitely a unicorn. Brings me to a follow-up question. Is there a defined feeling in between like and love? I’ve been trying to come up with one, but I can’t! I often tell my boyfriend how much I like him. But it seems my feelings are well past “like” now but not quite “love”. Thoughts? 🙂
I’ve only been able to come up with “heart”… ie. “I heart you!” Meh, probably not.
