I wanted to bring closure to our wedding theme conversations by highlighting some of my favorite contributions from all of you. I asked you to send a laugh in keeping with this theme, so here is a taste of what I’ve been receiving…
There are more awkward (and a couple sweet) wedding photos – including a VERY special one of yours truly, (not by my choice…my friend Sarah is a backstabber) and my parents (they have no choice, I had the photos) – on the new Love and Respect NOW Facebook page. Check it! And, if while you’re flipping through the album, you remember a really embarrassing photo that you “forgot” to send to me, than post it on the wall.
I also wanted to feature the story from Mary McAuliffe’s wedding: She was enjoying her one day in the spotlight when her friend decided to make an appearance. But not just any friend. It was the friend who became famous after being on a reality show. And he hadn’t RSVP’d to the wedding. And he’d coordinated a special “appearance” with Mary’s sister. And he probably didn’t mind that the guests shifted their cameras from the bride and started snapping non-stop pics of him. Oh, and the paid wedding photographer kept insisting on including him in photos, too. So my question is, where was his reality camera crew hiding, because this sounds like quite a stunt?!
Let’s toast to wedding season and all of the awkward photos and stories that it brings! CHEERS!
