If you were not aware, let me fill you in on a few things before you watch this video.
1) The “Stuff I Like” blogs have no connection to Love and Respect. My parents are just as embarrassed of me as most of my friends. They are simply stuff that I, Joy Eggerichs, like. It’s a way for you to get to know me.
2) As you get to know me, you will realize that not only do many people feel my belief in unicorns is ridiculous, but they may also feel that the way I choose to spend my free time is a bit ridiculous. I call it a “creative outlet.”
As I mentioned in my last “Stuff I Like” blog, I am surrounded by creative friends here in Portland. Two of these friends are the Brothers Martin. Sam Martin, aka “SAMM” is a musician and I had the privilege of helping him out with one of his serious music videos. Connor Martin, aka “Con Bro Chill” makes videos that are slightly less serious. In his video that debuted this morning, he addresses the inappropriate dancing behavior of teens. And if any of you went to public high school, you KNOW what I am talking about.
Never did I think my dream of being a fly girl would come to fruition at age 28…but alas, it did. Thanks guys!

(and by the way I am almost 39, so I don’t “teqnically” fit the category here! 🙂 ) I logged onto your parent’s “Love & Respect” site a bit ago and clicked on “Emerson’s daughter: Joy” and discovered what you are doing here. I want to encourage you in what you are doing! Lifting you up in prayer as we speak. I can’t wait for my daughter to get home so I can share this website with her. She will LOVE this video too!
