I grew up with hymns.
I like good music.
I love worshiping the Lord.
If you fall into any of those categories, you might enjoy the band PAGE CXVI. My friend Kathy talks about her discovery of the band and the meaning of it’s name in this post. For awhile I was calling it PAGE C90-X.
Unfortunately, listening to it will not give you rockin’ biceps.
So far PAGE CXVI has three albums. I have inserted songs to give you a preview. I was intrigued to hear how they arranged them, but blown away by the theological implications they created with the song “Joy”. It was so different than the happy song I sang in Sunday school, but when I realized what they were doing I was moved to tears.
Listen to this song and ask yourself, What does having joy in my heart really mean?

Love and Respect (Now) is a division of Love and Respect. Please be considerate.
Actually, Tifah rewrote Joy after her father passed away. It is about praising the Lord even when you’re sad. She talks about it here: http://blog.pagecxvi.com/post/683764188/joy
🙂
Megan thinks...
They also have a band called “The Autumn Film.” You should check them out, too! They’re pretty fantastic. 🙂
