Does this guy look new to you? Make sure you check out the first and second Tuesday with Normie. If you already know him, you can check out the next episode HERE.

I’m not one for writing post with lists like, “5 Ways To Become a Broadway Singer.” Truly. I was honored to know that even Christianity Today noticed I’m not a big list-writer. (They also called me a “Relationship Maven,” so obviously they didn’t call any of my exes as references.)
But the way things shook out in today’s chat with Dr. Norm Thiesen all boiled down to two great questions.
These aren’t the ONLY questions you could/should/will ask, but they might be helpful to keep tucked in your back pocket for that time when you find yourself at a wedding with an old person.
And let’s be honest, after two agenda items, I can’t remember anything else. Therefore I assume you and I are the same.

P.P.P.S. You’ve probably never heard the song that was played in this video. Most haven’t. So if you want to hear the whole song and be humming it for the next three hours, weeks or month, click HERE to see this tatted Daddy/Daughter duo. (The father is tatted, not sure about the three-year-old.)
P.P.P.P.S. Not sure why this is here, but I was on a roll with the post script.

Love and Respect (Now) is a division of Love and Respect. Please be considerate.
Isn’t he great!?! Well we decided to ask online what other questions people thought should be asked and I recorded a video yesterday with more of those ideas and even though it wasn’t Normie, I discussed it with a 3 year old little girl. You might like her too… Very wise.
And thank you for your encouragement!
Great, now I’ll be singing that song for the rest of the night!
…Great questions! I think we’re quick to try to do life alone. I know I am- at least when it comes to personal things. The older I get though, and the more I read and watch your stuff, I’m realizing the depth that asking right questions brings to not only relationships but life.
Love it. For some reason, it just clicked in my head that… (duh, duh, DUH!) my parents would be really good people to ask those questions of. I mean, despite living with them for 20 years, I probably haven’t payed much attention to exactly what they do that makes their marriage work.
And just sayin’ – that was no where near long enough. We need more Normie!
Beth thinks...
So the only complaint I have on that one is that it was too short! We want more Normie!! 🙂
Seriously, thanks, Joy for all you do and for encouraging and challenging us in this life we walk together.
